OSHA 10-Hour Certification (Day1)

This OSHA authorized training course covers a variety of general industry safety and health hazards which employers may encounter.

The course will emphasize:

  • hazard identification
  • avoidance
  • control and prevention

As a course provided through the SBDC, special attention will be paid to

    • employee rights
    • employer responsibilities
    • how complaints are filed

how to identify, abate, avoid and prevent job related hazards

The curriculum will include information on Emergency Action Plans, Fire Prevention Plans, Fire Protection and Safety and Health Plans. Participants will learn valuable information that can be easily translated into actionable safety programs that reduce accidents your workplace and show a commitment to safety standards.

The course will be taught by CJ Petitt, SPHR, MBA. CJ has over 10 years experience in teaching and assisting businesses with their safety programs. She is an authorized OSHA instructor.

*PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A 10 HOUR CERTIFICATION COURSE TAKING PLACE ON FEB 22 (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM) AND FEB 23 (8:30 AM – 12:30 PM), 2018. YOU MUST ATTEND BOTH DAYS TO RECEIVE CREDIT. THE COURSE IS $150.00 PER PERSON, LUNCH WILL BE INCLUDED ON DAY ONE ONLY*

The fee for this workshop is $150.00.
