To maintain safe work environments, OSHA recommends employers provide workplace safety training to all employees. This fully interactive 10-hour workshop will familiarize you with OSHA requirements for employers in general industry.

Hosted by the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), this OSHA-10 Safety Workshop is instructed by CJ Petitt, an OSHA Authorized Trainer. The workshop will educate employers and their workers on how to identify and prevent common worksite hazards.
Register by October 1st to receive a voucher for free First Aid and CPR certification after workshop completion. Members of the Hispanic Chamber, Greater SA Chamber and SAHRMA are eligible for a $10 discount. Pre-approved for HRCI/SHRM credit.

In January 2019, OSHA increased serious fines to $13,260 per violation and willful fines to $132,598 per violation/abatement. Frequent citations include violations for Haz Comm, Forklifts and PPE.
